Wallace Monument, Stirling

Winter sunrise behind the Wallace Monument, Stirling.

I had been into Stirling on offical work. (Honest)

The morning was not special at all, then all of sudden you could see the coluds clearing, I was on the back road from Bridge of Allen to Doune and found a spot where I could pick out the Wallace Monument with a long lens.

The black area in the forground is land in shade, when I saw the image at first I though I had a problem with the compact flash card.

I rushed round to try and get a shot of Stiling Castle but to no avail.
